No hen/stag/sten do is complete without the classic Mr and Mrs questions; this quiz is a great icebreaker as it’s the bride or groom who’s put on the spot, not the guests, many of whom might not know each other. Everyone can bond over the – often hilarious – answers and it’s a fun way to see how well the couple really know each other.
WHAT IS THE MR AND MRS QUIZ?
Originally based on a popular TV game show in the 70s, it’s a quiz aimed at finding out how well the couple know each other. The couple are each asked a series of questions about their relationship/partner and their answers are recorded in some way, either by writing them down, or videoing the replies. They then have to guess their partner’s answers and see how well they match up.

As we’re heading into the time of year when the invites start coming in; you may already have been asked to be a bridesmaid and be thinking about whether to attend the hen do, we thought we’d take a look at some Mr and Mrs questions.

The questions can be funny, cheeky, romantic and even risqué, and you can make it more fun by having forfeits for every one they get wrong; for example, they could do a dare or get a booby prize.
And remember, the quiz is called Mr and Mrs, but there are no rules about who can play it, it will work just as well with Mr and Mr, and Mrs and Mrs!
You can tweak them to make them more personal to the happy couple. And we’ll leave it for you to decide whether or not you include the cheeky ones…
