NEW CARAVANS AND EQUIPMENT YOU WON’T WANT TO MISS IN 2019!

We may still be in the middle of winter, but it won’t be long until it’s time to start getting ready for another caravan season! If last summer is anything to go by, you’ll be wanting to get a lot of use from your ‘van over the coming months. At The Insurance Emporium, we want to help you carry on camping in style! So we’ve come up with a list of some of the new caravans and equipment you might like to think about.

You’d better be Swift to catch this!

Trusted caravan makers Swift are celebrating the 100th anniversary of their Eccles range. But don’t worry, despite being a century old, the Eccles has kept up with the times and has even had a facelift for 2019! You can expect to see extra storage and soft furnishings in warm colours that match the honey-toned wooden trim. A new panoramic sunroof will allow a great deal of natural light in, adding to the spacious feel. Finished off with bright LED road lighting, this is a new nest that’s bound to be seen!

The new Lune…ar

If you’re a caravan enthusiast looking for something mid-range, Lunar’s new Quasar range could be what you’ve been waiting for! The interior has been revamped to make it more stylish and spacious than before — added storage is a great bonus here! But the most startling innovation is the added space to the end washroom, making for a more comfortable clean. The green stripe on the decals makes for a distinctive exterior touch, setting it apart from the crowd!

Bürsting with elegance

Looking for something a little special? Bürstner* have designed a new caravan that really is a home-from-home! The interior features rustic stone-look walls and hanging lamps that emit a soft light. It’s full of contemporary features, such as an induction hob, built-in coffeemaker and Alexa-based control system for your gadgets. The only problem: the Harmony 3 is still just a design study at the moment. But it’s definitely one to watch over the next year!

Light up your life!

It’s so annoying when you go on your first caravan trip of the season, only to find at the worst possible moment the battery has lost all its juice over winter. The new Batteryguard™ 300m Flashlight could make this a thing of the past! Their technology means that when the torch is off, the batteries are completely disengaged. This means you could expect twice the illumination, and 25% more life to your batteries. Seems like a bright idea to us!

Be a SMART-E pants!

Monitor your caravan’s vital signs with the new SMART-Trailer system from E-Trailer! All you have to do is fit sensors to your ‘van and download the app. Then you’ll be able to check on aspects such as tyre pressure, battery voltage, noseweight, humidity and temperatures — all from your mobile device! Once you use it, you might wonder how you ever lived without it!

Hopefully learning about these products will help you get caravan-ready! However, there’s much more out there to choose from! If you are planning your next caravan adventures this summer, it might be a good idea to think about caravan insurance. At The Insurance Emporium we offer a 5% Drivers Over 30 Years Discount^ on our Touring Caravan Insurance, as well as Optional Benefits such as protection for your Gadgets and Mobile Phones. That’ll make for happy campers!

* The Insurance Emporium do not offer cover for Bürstner caravans or any caravan that is not built to UK specifications.
