THE INSURANCE EMPORIUM AT THE UK BUSINESS AWARDS!

Insurance

We’re ever so excited over here at The Insurance Emporium as we prepare to embark on our latest magical adventure – that of the awards scene! That’s right, despite only launching in January 2017; we have already succeeded in securing our first two nominations. On Wednesday 22nd November 2017, we will be appearing at Wembley Stadium hoping to land an award in either the Business Change or Transformation B2C or Financial Services categories!

It’s been a whirlwind year for everyone here at the Emporium. Our brand launch, fronted by hapless hero Mr Benn, his faithful pal Eddie and the ever-reliable Shopkeeper, has been a resounding success, culminating in our superb live events at Waterloo station and the Arndale Centre in Manchester. We even sent Mr Benn on a brand new adventure to meet a gorilla in the jungle – a popular episode that has racked up over a quarter of million views and still counting!

Of course, it hasn’t all been about the glitz and the glamour. The awards are the end result of four hard years of planning, strategizing and really grafting. Everyone here at the Emporium has put in that extra bit of effort and we are so proud and grateful for all of that input. We only hope now that the judges see the same and we can bring home the award. It could be the start of a golden era for The Insurance Emporium!

The UK Business Awards, otherwise known as ‘The Dons’, are select industry prizes, adjudicated by an independent panel of businessmen and women. They were created to celebrate truly exceptional performances from businesses across the country. As well as the awards for each of the 20 categories, an Overall Winner prize is awarded to the entrant with the highest score across all disciplines.

Francis Martin, our Chief Executive Officer at The Insurance Emporium had this to say: “We are delighted to be a finalist in both categories at the UK Business Awards 2017. To be nominated for these national awards, which recognises achievements from businesses of all sizes, is an indication of the success of our investment.

“It’s great for a York-based business like ourselves to be recognised on a national level and we hope that it is a success that the rest of North Yorkshire can see the benefit from.”

Stay tuned and find out how we did!
