As prices surge on basic essentials like food, rent, gas and household goods this month, already struggling students are forced to work frugally, as penny-pinching comes to an all-time high.

Survey and Prize Draw Terms & Conditions
The survey prize is open to UK residents aged 18 years and over who (a) are themselves studying, or (b) on behalf of a family member who is studying, a full-time university education course.
There are ways to enter the draw:
- purchase our Student Insurance in October (automatic entrance),
- complete our Cost of Living Survey
- or receive two entries if you purchase our Student Insurance in October (automatic entrance) and complete our Cost of Living Survey
Those who are automatically entered must have a live policy as at the time of drawing the prize winner on 24 November 2022.
Closing date for the Cost of Living Survey entry is 12:00am on 1 November 2022; entries are limited to one per email address.
By submitting your survey response, you are giving The Insurance Emporium to share the content and data results for the purpose of our Student Cost of Living Crisis Campaign (such as social media posts, press releases, and website blogs.) Your responses can be anonymised if you so wish.

The winner will be randomly selected at 4pm on 22 November 2022 and notified to the email address provided to us; acceptance of the prize and confirmation of contact details must be provided by 1 December 2022. Failure of the winner to respond will result in a replacement winner being drawn.
